Remember the MASH episode where Colonel Potter's (Harry Morgan)horse was all bound up. I assume is was from what it was fed. He had the city slicker people doctors give it an enema to take care of things. It was funny to me. Dad says that feeding alfalfa to draft horses would overheat them when working them. Not sure what that meant! I would ask him if I cared! I used to work for a company that made livestock watering equipment. I had no use for the people without a brain that had horses that they really could not afford, but had to wear all the fancy "bling" that was expected of them.
