Well fixerupper: You have them pretty well figured out. Most pleasure horse people can't really afford their hobby. They think a horse should cost them the same to keep as a dog or cat. I have always bee cash on the barrel head for hay sales. It just makes life easier on both the seller and the buyer. No one has any misunderstandings.
I always guaranteed my hay to be good clean hay. I just told them to bring me back the bad bale and I would replace it. Funny how a few would tell me the hay was bad but they still managed to not be able to bring it back???? LOL
