Most common problem with those old pumps is the timing advance in the bottom gets scored/stuck. You run a over sized reamer through the housing and install a over sized advance and make it run better.. Used to build a pile of those back in the day before the power strokes. I probably have a good pump around here I could freshen up for you. Could also give yours a little love. Wish I had known sooner I was in Ottawa Lake yesterday at the in laws. Could have swung by.
