I needed a few 4AA side by side battery holders for a project last summer. Radio shack did not have them on the rack, but ordered them shipped direct to me ( I am 100 miles from the Radio Shack store.).

I clicked the link for Allied to see if they have them. Allied appears to have the exact part for $1.06, while I paid about $2 for them at radio shack
That gap may close quite a bit if I added shipping and sales tax to the allied order.

I book marked those two electronics store links in case my only RS closes.

I seem to remember getting Allied radio shack catalogs 40 years ago, Was that the same Radio shack and Allied a RS store brand ??
