I've never owned one but from what I've seen through the years (I'm 80) most gas start Farmall and McCormick-Deering diesel tractors were sort of hard steering dogs compared to their same size gas models. Some did fairly well that had been 'tricked up" a little, but sooner or later the heads cracked unless the operators were very careful with them.
