Did bee keeping years ago till had an accident. You buy a swam not just a queen. A swam is like 1000 bees plus the queen. You need comb frames a feeder hive and suppers plus the knowledge to do it all which there are a good number of books on bee keeping. Read the books first then the bees. Start in mid spring when things are just starting to bloom so as not to have to feed them sugar water for a long time
