I agree with you Traditional Farmer. If college grad didn't have the debt they wouldn't need the higher pay. I read some place that by the time they pay for the debt(loans and interest) the non-college student passes the college student up in lifetime earnings. I was talking with a machine shop owner once. He said once they go to college people suddenly think that they know everything about it(in this case machining) and in reality can't do anything right. The engineers are getting smarter in other places too because of the education system here in the USA. Useless classes and few workplaces are offering apprenticeships or other educations anymore.
