I would take the OHV contential engine over a flat head any day.
I THINK the pto on 2n had to be turning before the 3 pt would work. Ford fixed that problem in 53 with the Jubilee.
I think some later fergies had a Sherman like Hi/low tranny and live hyd. Not sure about the TO30. I think the TO30 was 30 hp and the 2N was around 20. I would want the 30 hp.
