Don't hold where she lives against her. Get to know her before making any judgements. What you are calling "country" might be more of a state of mind than a zip code. Especially with what you mentioned with the Dad situation. I'd rather hang out with a gal that lives in the apartment that her mom can afford and has learned a little of the work ethic of taking care of themselves and making do (vs somebody, regardless of where they live, waiting for somebody else to take care of them, pay the bills, buy them the stuff they feel entitled to).

Today's Featured Article - Show Coverage: Argyle and Mt. Pleasant Labor Day Weekend Shows - by Cindy Ladage. The last fling before summer fades into fall and we get busy in the fields are the annual Labor Day tractor shows. Beginning on September 5th and running through the 7th, the Argyle Antique Gas and Engine Show is held at the Argyle State Park. Located in West Central Illinois, the pine forest was the setting for the opening of the 22nd show.
