I bought a pair of tractor chains at an auction. They were sold as field drag chains. They say they fit 13.9x34. I bought them anyway 30-35 bucks great deal better than the had to have ones last winter 412 delivered had to have them. these chains have rings almost as big around as a 5 gal. bucket with 4 cleats welded to each ring. chains connecting the rings together. I have a 5600 ford I want to put them on but the tractor has 13.9x30 wondering if anyone knows the best way to downsize these how many rings do you think I will have to take off? with the cleats and rings they are about 3 inches tall so do not want to double them. what are these kind of chains called? thanks in advance MTP...
