Got behind a similar load 15 or so years ago, I-80 west of Salt Lake City. Some kind of equip for the Nev gold mines. State trooper running tail gunner was chattin on the cb. Said 1,500,000#, 256 tires under it, had gotten up to 15 mph a few times. They had power units & an operator on each axle for individual steering. They had built pull-out pads every few miles to let traffic get by. Were going to get off the big raod at Nev border & head out cross country on state roads. Willie
