The old "lettered networks" just carry the water for external_link. Fox may not be 100% right, but at least they make you think and then you can research an issue.
Do you think we would have ever heard of the IRS scandal (and the dozens of others) if it had been in the hands of NBC and CBS??? Nope, they bury the news. They quit being a news organization years ago. Joseph Goebbels would be proud of them.
We quit the satelitte outfits when they were not going to show the World Series in 2013. Went to our phone company provider.
Our local REA electric COOP is putting in fiber optic and is going to start offering TV, phone and internet. I am going to sign up and pay the initial fee, even though I dont live on the farm anymore. But we are planning on moving back and it is much cheaper to join in the first go around.
We can only get 5 or 6 channels over the antenna on free TV.
