I live in Jackson County, Illinois, which is on your list of "poorest" county per state. It's commonly known that Pope County, Illinois holds that distinction for Illinois. I'm skeptical of a list that has a picture titled "Murphysboro Post Office", when that building has not been a post office for possibly 50 years. Not saying that there aren't poor people in Jackson county (me being one of them).
