These companies are mostly TRAINING companies. They will put ANYBODY in the driver's seat with about 3 weeks of "training" at their terminal. The majority of them quit within 3 months, and the ones that stick around are usually greenhorn rookies. When they do get any drivers with experience, they don't stay around because of things like low wages, excessive time on the road, lack of proper rest, and a host of other problems - usually originating in a dispatch office. In general, I treat my dog better than most of those companies treat their drivers. Doing business with companies like that is risking truck abandonment, wrecks, and late deliveries.
