We had a Trailblazer of about that year. It was back in the shop almost more than it was in our garage. It got a free ride on a flatbed when the transmission gave up the ghost right in our own driveway. It got another free ride when the shaft in the power steering pump snapped, leaving the wife with no power steering on a snow and ice covered, rutted up road. The lack of power steering made her lose control and go into the ditch. Transmission and various other things were fixed under warranty. Warranty had just expired when the power steering pump broke and I would have to pay for a new pump. That was the last straw. I'll spare you the details, but that Trailblazer stayed right there, and we came home in a brand new Durango at a very good price.
