I can reply to that with a four letter word beginning with F...FORD! We say over here "Nothing runs like a Deere maybe but nothing smokes like a Ford. A friend of mine bought a Sanderson Forklift which was built around a Ford 6600 skid unit. He told me he just got sick of it when working inside buildings cos of the constant smoking. When he asked the dealer he bought it off what he could do to stop it smoking he said "Switch her off, its a Ford Fords smoke!" The best engines we found in Europe where emissions were concerned were The German MWM engines as fitted to Fendt,Renault and Some Steyr tractors.
