You can buy used windmills and towers from windmill dealers all around the country. I have a Model 602 on a 53 ft tower. 8 ft fan I purchased from O'Brock Windmills in 1998 for about 2K. Only problem I have is servicing it annually because I am too big and too old to climb the tower. By the time I got it up I probably had 5K in it counting drilling the well. I really enjoy it. Towers are easy to put up if you get them started out square. You build them one section at a time using the last section as a working platform
