It's too bad that they have to lump all wood burners together, there are some that pollute much less than others. Most of the outdoor boilers are terrible, they do not burn hot enough and do not have secondary air. I know here in the Phoenix valley there is a burning ban and it is justified, the air pollution is pretty bad.
