No doubt, Michlins are over-rated and can be mighty slippery on a slick road because of the Hard rubber compound.. Never had any complaints with Bridgestone, even on the big truck. On that (drivers) we got 220,000/tire and those were punishing miles in snow and HOT desert. A lot depends on the type tire you purchase.. "Traction" (Winter) tires will be softer or different compounds to enhance traction. What issues did you have with your Bridgestones..? Some tire designs will introduce cabin noise, but about all they usually demand is proper inflation (NOT to vehicle recommendation) and proper alignment.. Ron.
