Reality tv rots your brain. Mike Rowe wasn't too happy with the way Discovery edited the last 4 episodes of Dirty Jobs, likely part of why the show was dropped. When he went shopping the idea around to other networks CNN of all places was the only ones who didn't want a script. Sounds like they gave him a lot of say on what gets aired. But they pre-emp it for anything, including North Korea threatening to do something to theaters for showing a movie.
