I have a couple of old Homelites that I still trim with. Ones an XL12, and the other is a XL Automatic. They start and run good. I needed a bigger saw and went with a Husky 562XP Auto tune. I don't have that many hours on it yet, but I'm really impressed with it. But I paid $700 bucks for it, cause I didn't want one of the throw away saws.
