My daughter is a medical lab tech and works in a hospital. She is part time although she's trying to get on full time. As of today her health insurance premiums go up 400 dollars a month for her and my grand daughter. As a part timer that would eat her entire pay check. Both are in good health. Her husband drives OTR and has his own health insurance provided free from his employer. If my SIL were to add my daughter and grand daughter it's 900 a month. So they are at a point where they have to drop insurance on the 2 of them. And yes they make too much to qualify for subsidies.
So I'm not too impressed. Wife and I have both Tricare (retired Army) and for me VA. So my only observations are from the outside looking in.
