I currently have a company policy which is dirt cheap and for retirement have a locked in monthly company paid subsidy of $20.00 per year of service up to a maximum of 35 years so I will get a $700.00 per month subsidy. This benefit was a big surprise when it was announced several years ago and you had to have a certain number of years senority at that time to qualify which I was fortunate enough to have. As to your neighbors, I don't begrudge anyone using the corrupt tax system against itself to protect their own property and if they were able to transfer their farms tax free then more power to them, but why anybody wants to live on government hand outs and dole is beyond any understanding I have. The US federal tax structure and collection procedure is nothing but strong arm extortion and theft.
