I save all sorts of open-pollinated vegetable seeds and re-plant them each year. I have two varieties of sweet corn and two varieties of field corn. I think they recommend open-pollinated corn varieties be planted at least 1,500 feet apart to prevent cross-pollination. Sustainable Seed Company is a good source for open-pollinated seeds.
