The resistor in my 04' gave out. I replaced it with one from the local auto supply.(right across the road from the Chevy dealer). Months later I got a GM recall notice. Still had the receipt in my farm expense files, and they paid for it. Didn't offer any labor though! As usual, my time is worthless.
