I heard on the radio yesterday that the lastest study says WHEN FIGURED WITH THE PRICE OF TODAY'S GAS, the most polluting vehicle on the road is a hybrid car, when the cost of everything is figured in, including the manufacture and the eventual disposal of the battery system. The least polluting vehicle was the diesel. Of course, I take all of these studies with a large grain of salt.
