I have never owned a 3/4 ton truck, but years ago I ran large aggressive tires on my 1/2 ton truck. I finally learned to match tires to the task. Of course if you spend most of your time off road or on the farm, tire noise and ride are not nearly as critical. I also found that tire life is not good on most of the aggressive tires, but that might not be a concern if off road most of the time.
