Since when has a 20 year old tractor, or the condition of its paint, been an indicator of the condition of the economy?
If your tractors are only 20 years old, and only need paint, you're a "rich farmer" around these parts. If you bought them new, you must be dealing drugs on the side, or your wife has a good job in town.
Looking at farms is an awful way to gauge the economy in general. If the condition of farms were any indication of the economy in general, the previous two years should have you declaring "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" as far as economic recovery.
