Liked Hee Haw, It was one of the good shows you could watch and not worry about your kids being there with you. Corny jokes and good music. Many nice looking ladies too.
I really believe the skills that many country singers have get little mention compared to other gentries. I feel Roy Clark is one of the best musicians that lived in the 20th century. I know that is a bold statement but very few have his wide ranging skill level on many instruments.
It is a shame that wholesome entertainment like Hee Haw is not produced today. There is not enough "sizzle" to attract a big enough audience. That is the feeling of the Hollywood people that really have no idea of the core values most of this country still has.
