Kubota seems to be throwing a lot of weight around, lately. It seems lots of guys buy them around here.
I don't care for them. I don't think they are bad, or evil, but it gets under my skin when you see West Allis and all the abandoned factories, or how red and blue tractors are made in the same factories because about 9 different companies are now merged into 1. All these brands get merged for one reason or another, and all were good companies with decent market share, and good machinery. Despite that, lots are gone now, and somehow a newer brand like Kubota comes out and starts getting more and more market share. I'm not against a company doing good, or making money. I'm just not happy to see all that has happened in the ag industry in the past 40 years. I guess I don't like change.
