I assume it has the Tecumseh 6 or 7 horse Snow King engine on it. The carb is bolted to an adapter and not the engine block. Those are bolts, not studs. So - two bolts and nuts hold the carb to that adapter, and then two bolts hold the adapter to the engine block. The two bolts holding the carb to the adapter are 1/4" with 7/17" nuts on one side, and Philips-head on the other with conical shaped lockwashers to help prevent them from turning.
