I am rebuilding a case shuttle trans , inside the main shaft there is a restrictor tube with an o ring seal between it and the id of the main shaft . my concern is do I need to be concerned with the seal?
I have been told to leave it alone , but it would seem to make sense to replace it, however I can not get the bugger out due to a previous rebuild where thy staked it in place !!
