When I finally got the guts to scrap out my old combine I'd used for 19 years it wasn't too hard to cut it into pieces small enough to get on a trailer. The tough part came when the crane at the scrap yard picked up the pieces and threw them on the pile. When it picked up that six row corn head that I hated with a passion I got a tear in my eye and silently said "good by my friend". Lots of memories went through my mind on the way home.
