Yesterday I picked up a real clean 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with 69,000 one owner miles..Its dirty in the picture because our roads are a mess....I hunted for a month to find one this nice and got it off Craigslist 60 miles away..
Anyways its almost perfect except someone stole the right hand mirror glass and frame while the owner was recently in Wal-mart..Does it just pop in or out of the white hole thats pictured?
In checking ebay you can either buy just the mirror glass alone or the complete mirror assembly for $36.00 which is painted black...Has anyone popped one of these mirrors out of this new assembly and just put it in the existing mirror motor..I dont want to put a complete new mirror assembly on as I will then have to have it painted the correct color..
