Hey folks.
I was in that tractor place last evening pricing oil.
I am completing a rebuild on my Ford 4500 TLB and will probably run Rotella in that as I have had good luck with it for many years.
I also needed oil for the parts chaser and other assorted tractors and the like.
I read the labels on the Rotella and the store brand and they seem to have the same specs with the difference being that the R. had some unnamed 'triple protection' additives which improves lubrication.
Does anyone have knowledge on what makes these oils different?
