I was was round baling one hot day and got a whiff of smoke. Smelled like hay burning. Saw a lit of smoke about then. Fortunately I had a 32 oz water bottle with me that hadjust been filled. Now I carry a 2 1/2 gallon pressurized water extinguisher with me. A little soap in the mix makes it "wet" water. Real, real handy. I've used it twice to put out neighbors grass fires.
