I always thought the 66 series was the beginning of the end of IH. That cab was basically an afterthought. Just a little better than a home made cab or the old Hiniker cab.
Not running your tractor down, but I had a 706 German diesel and a 766 diesel. Both bought new. When it came time to convert to hobby farm status, guess which one I kept?
