Columbia--at daughter's soccer game. Might have seen some streaks if I'd known to look up. We were in the edge of the debris field. Friend of mine found a chunk of raw meat in his backyard. He called it in, some guys in a black SUV picked it up, he never heard another word about it.

9/11--at a friend's house.

Iraq--don't remember the opening shots, but when the B-52s came home from the initial bomb run I was on top of a parking garage with a crowd of other folks watching them make their approach to Barksdale AFB. They made the entire run to Baghdad and back without ever touching down until they got home.
