The corn I'm in now is around 13%.No corn is dried here. We have such a dry climate,we dont need to.Our 'target' date is April 15.Our days in July/August get to 95-100*.But the nights can cool to the 50sI usually cant get it planted till May 15...One thing that hurts us is we have cold noghts,theCorn stops growing at night.Sometimes May is cold,so corn will struggle till June.Most of our corn is harvested in Nov/Dec.Only the best operators who plant EARLY can even start in late Oct.
