Late 80's I raised 2 Ewes on 1 Acre (pets). Bought "Momma Ewe" (Merino) already impregnated by a Mouflon. Waited to see what results would be. Sheep are DUMB, even though Momma Ewe had a nice warm, dry place to give birth in, she chose to give birth to a single baby Ewe OUTSIDE IN A SNOW STORM, and then she went into her warm dry shed and refused to care for her baby. I had to take it in the house and bathe it, warm it up, and feed it with a baby bottle. Named the baby "Ewe Too" or (Ewe 2, U-2, You Too) , cute as the dickens - dirty-White with Tan booties, Tan stripe down the spine, & upper half of the tail was dirty- White and lower half was Tan. When it rained, both Sheep would stand out in the pouring rain instead of going into their shelter. Tails were not removed - MESSY. Ever try to give a Sheep a bath, it's a lesson in futility. NEVER AGAIN!
