Traditional Farmer, I've been told that hunting with the 300 Winchester mag (we have one) is like hunting with a howitzer.lol. We never had to track on in all the years we used it. Never wasted meat except the heart in most cases,others were head shots . Always loved venison,but didn't have the energy and physical stamina for the past several years to beat the brush for them.
