I left some tools here on the farm when I went to Germany in 93. In 95 when I returned I couldn't find them to save my life. I was thinking that my mom had let my BIL farm the land and they had used them. Figured his boy, my nephews, had worked on equipment, used my tools and forgot to put em back. Talked to my BIL and he didn't know anything. So I left it be. The next summer while here on leave I cleaned out a shed for my mother. I'd already replaced the missing tools. About 300 dollars worth. In the shed I found one of my dads old tool boxes, opened it up and there were my tools. Mom had seen them in the basement, knew they were mine and put them in the box. Then she had one of the grandkids take it to the shed. I was really glad I didn't blow a gasket when I couldn't find them and mom had forgotten about them.
