Been calling around to get insurance quotes for the farm. There are some real donkeys out there selling insurance these days. AAA covers the vacant land as part of my homeowners insurance but I am putting a building up on the larger piece to keep the equipment secure so it will now need it's own policy. I am not quite there yet but what I am currently wanting to do is insure the combine. Specifically when I move it across the road. I recently discovered that my 60 mile drive across the state in said combine was done without insurance (I thought I was covered). I have to move it another 20 miles now and want protection against those who think they can drive at me. You would think I was asking for a miracle. Is there such a thing as road insurance for farm equipment? Where do you get it?
