It likely depends on what tractor you have. Cat II is a wider implement spacing, and the pins may be outside of the brackets. Keep them to the inside if they will fit, and for Cat I as far in as you can. Make sure, if you have them, that your sway chains are tight enough. I have JD's, and they have a sway block setup, so we put them in as far as they will go, Usually, the pins wind up outside the brackets in a Cat II position, and inside for the blocks in the Cat I position.
