Well, we, I dont. We have nothing like this in MO. We can do anything we want, anytime, no oversight, no permits, no paperwork. Nothing.
We have no zoning.
I have drilled three wells, put in septic systems, dozed out fencerows, built houses, barns, silos, farrowing houses, etc. Nothing.
Now if you are big enough to get into the CAFO classification, then yes.
Here is my question. If you were doing this under a CRP, EQUIP type program. Then NRCS approves it,then FSA pays for it. Their rules and approval would override anything the county could come up with.
I think you went to far trying to fight it. You should have just torn up the paperwork, did the work, and forgot it.
If they pushed it, then just refer them to the county USDA/NRCS office. The county would have dropped it like a hot potato.
