I had time today to take the clutch assembly all back apart. Yes the clutch disc behind the clutch driver is new. I removed the dogs and toggles to inspect them. Two of the dogs look fairly new and one looks very worn and could be the original. The three toggles are all different lengths with about 1/16" difference from the shortest to the longest. The pins that hold the dogs in place have very little wear and play in them. I ordered new dogs and toggles today and as soon as they come in and i get them installed i will post back with the end result. Thanks for all the advice. Next time i will go to the john deere section of the forum like some of you suggested. Beginners mistake. Thanks again.
