. Market forces that produced $4,gal. Can do it again. Any turmoil in Mideast will produce jitters an cause price to be raised for oil companies "protection". Terrorism, political crisis, social unrest, military surprises etc.and etc. Are all that's needed. Some big.name economist will discover an error in some report, refinery will have an accidental fire, or Teamsters somewhere threaten to strike and prides will be raised. Around here gasoline is under $3.,gal, but Diesel is almost $4./gal. If crude oil is down, why is diesel same or higher?
