Mine aIso has the series paraIeII switch, i instaIIed it in 86,i use it with the orig 12v starter. Starter burn out is not an issue if your engine is a fast starter... mine fires up in a spit sec when i hit the key
I never used the coId gIow feature as it never did work worth a fart...your better off to instaII a circuIation heater and pIug it in for an hour.
I aso got rid of the rad curtain cause aII it does is trap dirt and it near impossibIe to cIean that dirt outa there.
Is that second knob to the right and in the front of the gearstick?
If it is than it has to do with adjusting hydr speed or draft controII, on mine i has never worked worth a fart either.
