Here in WV we have some CWD. But if you find deer near water in the summer it is mostly what we call blue tongue. There is a scientific name for it but I cannot remember it. It is spread by a fly, generally dies out come fall and may never be seen again in an area as CWD can be found yr. round and stays in an area for yrs.
