I have heard that a million times, "Country music makes people commit suicide." I've known a lot of people that killed themselves and investigated a lot of suicides. Music has never been a cause of suicide. Health issues, money issues, relationship issues and simple mental health issues are why people commit suicide. Rock music didn't make girls into tramps and metal doesn't make them into druggies. Any study that purports to find that music makes you suicidal is biased to start with.
